bud not buddy

Bud went to stay at the Amos's house but he had to stay in their shed in their back yard. When Mr. Amos left, he locked the shed from the out side lock. When bud tried to go to sleep he blinked and he saw something called a vampire bat. He tried to get out, but he just couldn't because the doors were locked. ( text to self) one day when I got grounded when I was little my mom swithched the doornob around and locked my bedroom door from the outside. I wanted to get out but I couldnt.

Bud was packing is stuff and then his new brother walked in and starded hurting him. Mrs. Amos, his mom walked in and her son was down on the ground huffing and puffing. Bud was about to be sent back to stay at the orphanage or he could sleep in a shed in the foster home he was going to. but he didnt want to really be with his brother after he had already stuck a pencil up his nose.

I am reading a book called bud not buddy, by Christopher Paul Curtis. This is a newbery winning award book. Buds mother has been dead for four years when this novel opened and Bud is in an orphanage. He holds all the remnants of his old loving home in a cardboard suitcase: some flyer's advertising Herman E Calloway and various bands, a few mysteriously labeled rocks, and his blanket.
